My Approach
It is important you know who I am so that you can trust me and consider sharing your inner world with me free from judgement in a safe place.
I am naturally humanistic and trained as a psychodynamic counsellor, since then I have learnt many other counselling methodologies to work with you the best I can.
When we spend time together I am committed to getting to know you and your unique life experiences to gain insight so we can tailor our time together in a way that is right for you.
Together we can learn to understand how your past has shaped you and use that knowledge and awareness to embrace new ways of being that help you feel settled within your own world.
I am both warm and inquisitive, and with the use of interventions this talking therapy helps you discover conflicting thoughts and emotions whilst you develop a fresh understanding of yourself and behaviours which can often be very profound and empowering.
This process can help to ease the impact of stored emotions whilst you gain greater control over your thoughts, behaviours and life.
It is so peaceful to heal from our past or gain understanding on confusing thoughts that are with us in the present. By questioning our own behaviours, thoughts and feelings, whilst in a safe and non judgmental environment, we can become our own best experts in choosing what is right for us.

I am a BACP Registered Psychodynamic Counsellor
Located in Rainford, St Helens I have undergone professional training that meets high standards set by British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
As a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, I provide both online and in-person talking therapy sessions for individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, from life changing experiences, relationship challenges, bereavement, anticipated grief, depression and anxiety. I also work with Complex Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress and past trauma from childhood experiences of sexual, psychological, emotional and physical abuse with inner child work.
I am dedicated to working closely with my clients to uncover the underlying causes of their struggles and identify what may be difficult for them. Whether you need insight, analysis, or a gentle nudge, I am here to support you with empathy, understanding, and a touch of humor as we work towards achieving lasting positive change.
